Another successful Crafters Anon Online Class

Hello fellow crafters,

Well last night was a hoot again with Tia Routledge taking this weeks Crafters Anon Online Class. We made this beautiful set of draws that would be a wonderful gift for a little girl filled with costume jewellery or even for dad filled with sweets of all kinds. The draws are just big enough to put in as set of playing cards.

I have used Tangerine Tango card stock, and the Old Olive from the Brights Designer Series Paper Pattern Stack. I made draw pulls from Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon. The shiny metalic label holders and brads are from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit. The lovely layers are the Top Note die for the bigshot, I also ran the Old Olive piece on the top back through the Big Shot with the Manhatten Flower Textured Impressions embossing folder. I inked the edges with Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad. The flower is cut from Old Olive card stock using the Fancy flower extra Large punch, centred with one of the flowers from Boho Blossoms punch using Tangerine Tango card stock and then I fastened them all together with a brad from the brights collection. Stampin' Dimentials hold it in place on the top of the lid.

I used only Stampin' Up! products with this project as I do with all my work.  A big thankyou to Tia and Crafters Anon coming up with another wonderful creation this week and to all of you who enjoy my blog I hope this inspires you as much as these projects inspired me.

I have been quite busy getting ready for this years Stampin' Up! Convention in May. I am also looking forward to getting over to the big smoke to do a bit of shopping and catch up with my Mum. This will be my first convention so have come up with a unique swap but I am only making 50 although they advise making 100 or more so I hope I am not selling myself short! I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet but I will post pictures as the time gets closer.

Friday will be exciting this week with the launch of the new Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue, so if you wanted to purchase something from the Summer Mini Catalogue time is short so hurry up. Give me a call, you don't want to miss out do you? Last orders on Thursday midday.

Enjoy your day,

3D Project

Finally I have gotten organized. My darling put up some new shelves for me and with a new desk for my computer the office/craftroom is looking wonderful and it's just perfect to get creative juices flowing. Today I created a new project 6x6" Photo Album and did this one in theme of a baby boy. The themes are limitless such as 18th/21st/50th Birthday, Christmas Day, Easter, Wedding, Christening and so much more.

I have Use Pacicfic Point card stock, the paper is from the Brights Collection of Designer Series Paper Pattern Stack, the carriage picture is from the Baby Bundle stamp set and I have used 6x6" Page Protectors on the inside to hold photos. Antique Brass Jumbo Eylets hold it all together along with hinged rings from a stationary store.

This great message stamps comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set which I punched out with the smallest of the oval punches and framed it with a label holder from the Hodge Podge Hardware kit. The Scollop circle punch out is from Pacific Point card stock and layered and held fast together with vintage brads and Stampin' Dimentionals.

I love using different elements to bring my projects to life such as the letters from the On Board Alphabet Soup which I have heat embossed with white powder, the gorgeous Rhinestone Jewel in the center of the flower and the elegant Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.

Bag yourself this little beauty

Front view with tag in pocket

Side view with tag out

Well these are the result of tonights online class at Crafters Anon. This was my take on Anne Brignall's class. Certainly will be making great use of this template. I put a little pocket in the front with a window to see the stamped greeting on the gift tag. I used Stampin' Up!'s Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla and Old Olive card stock. Antique Brass Jumbo eyelets, Old Olive ribbon, leaves from the Two step Owl punch and the Trio flower punch (no longer available) and centred with the smallest of the Basic Rhinestones sheet of Jewels . Can't wait to see what's in store for next weeks online class. The greeting is the Level 1 Hostess set Afterthoughts.
Ask me how you can earn your own free stamps.
So... the bag has been such a hit with me I have made another one.

and yet another...

Online Class

Well this week I managed to attend an online class with Crafters Anonmous and was pleasently surprised with the results. I think I will put this project idea together for a 3D Project class sometime in the year. I have used Stampin' Up!'s Pacicfic Point card stock, Blueberry Crisp Designer Series Paper and simply embellished with a Star brad (no longer available).

This Starbox would be a lovely gift at either Easter or Christmas time filled with chocolates for those unexpected guest and it's so easy to do.

Cards & Chocolates

Well Easter is nearly upon us again and the shelves in the supermarkets are jam packed with yummy chocolate delights of all kinds. Who can resist the gorgeous wrapping that catches our eyes as we go about the dreaded chore of filling the pantry at home to feed the forever hungry teenagers.

I find myself checking out the colours and wrapping then race home to do my own interpretation of the design for my cards. We find inspiration in the most unusual places at time LOL

Here are some samples of cards I will be teaching in my classes on the 13th April. at the King Island Golf & Bowls Club from 7pm

Flood Appeal

On Saturday 26th Feb my other work place King Island Golf and Bowling Club held a Flood Appeal with all the funds going to the Australian Red Cross. We had a total of 64 golfers and 18 bowlers take part in this fun day. Players payed penalities for lost balls, 3 or more putts, sledging and any other thing we could think of to have people pay up the $1 fines. The weather was gorgeous and everyone had a great time. We had so many local business' donate goods to raffle with many people going home with armfuls of booty. A quick count on the afternoon gave us a total of $1984 with attendees quickly rallying around to make up the differnce to give us a grand total of $2000. Thankyou all who donated goods, their time and money.
